29 марта 1927 Впервые в мире автомобилем преодолен скоростной барьер в 200 миль в час (321,8 км/час). В городе Дайтона Бич, штат Флорида, Хенри Онейл де Хейн Сигрейв (Henry O`Neil de Hane Segrave) на машине Mystery Sunbeam мощностью 1000 лошадиных сил развил скорость 203,79 мили в час (327,89 км/час).
