28 мая 1871 г. После недели кровавых боев разгромлена Парижская коммуна. В ходе боев и казней погибли 25 тысяч коммунаров, около 40 тысяч были брошены в тюрьмы или высланы на каторжные работы в Новую Каледонию и Алжир.
