16 января 1969 г. состоялась первая в мире стыковка космических кораблей. Союз-4 (командир В.Шаталов) состыковался с Союз-5 (командир - Борис Волынов).

Союз-5

были проблемы с посадкой союза-5: сперва не сразу отделился спускаемый аппарат, а потом запутался парашют и не сработали тормозные ракеты. Волынов отделался выбитыми зубами.
